I think this has partly been brought on by the rise of social media. Seems like players dont need to risk going to clubs or hooking up with hotel gold diggers when all they have to do is DM a couple girls on Instagram and get what they need. In fact, Im surprised more players dont get called out all Kristaps. There are tons of guys on the Kings DMing girls I legit went to highschool with lol. Even my roommates sister got a DM from Liangelo Ball back in October while he was still in a relationship. Much easier to sit at home and play video games, have your chef make some food, and then dm a girl on insta and get her to come over.

compared to both versions of dayz its a god send, i think people really exaggerate the bugs in that game. Its mostly just framerate (which has improved remarkably since the engine update) and rubber banding at the start of rounds. Other than that its really fucking solid for such an ambitious game. Theres a reason it came out of nowhere to completely dominate steam, it offers an experience that you havent really gotten since dayz (which is why i compare them)
